These terms apply to all offerings (1:1 sessions, group courses, online programs, retreats, and in-person events).
Minors: Participants under the age of 18 require the involvement of a legal guardian for booking and payment. By completing the booking, the legal guardian expressly confirms their consent to the somatic work being performed.
The services offered do not constitute medical treatment and are not intended to replace medical, psychotherapeutic, or physiotherapeutic diagnosis or therapy. The providers are not licensed physicians, psychotherapists, or alternative practitioners (Heilpraktiker).
Sentido Somatico: Somatic guidance based on body awareness, nervous system regulation, and stress processing.
LUMA ATMA: Intensive, confrontational bodywork. Strong physical interventions may be used to release deep-seated blockages. This work is physically and emotionally extremely demanding and is explicitly not aimed at relaxation.
By booking, the participant confirms that they are in good physical and mental health and that no medical reasons (e.g., severe cardiovascular disease, acute psychosis, pregnancy during intensive bodywork) prohibit participation. In case of doubt, a physician must be consulted beforehand. Participation is at the participant's own risk.
Duration: A session at Sentido Somatico lasts a maximum of 55 minutes.
Online Sessions: The participant is responsible for maintaining a stable internet connection.
Delays: In the event of a delay exceeding 5 minutes, the claim to the session expires. The fee will be charged at 100% in this case.
Payment: The full invoice amount is due immediately upon booking. Transactions are securely processed through third-party providers such as Stripe, PayPal, or Mercado Pago. The terms of use of the selected payment service provider shall apply additionally.
Cancellation: Rebookings are possible free of charge up to 48 hours before the appointment. For shorter-term cancellations or no-shows, 100% of the fee is due.
Retreats: Separate cancellation policies apply to retreats, which will be communicated individually during the booking process.
Participation is voluntary and at the participant's sole responsibility.
Self-Care: Each participant is responsible for maintaining their own physical and psychological boundaries and may stop any exercise at any time if they feel uncomfortable.
Reactions: Physical or emotional reactions (e.g., shaking, fatigue, emotional release) are known side effects of somatic integration and fall within the participant's responsibility.
Liability Waiver: To the extent permitted by law, any liability for physical or psychological reactions, as well as for the consequences of participation, is excluded.
We process data in accordance with international standards (GDPR, CCPA).
Confidentiality: Session content is treated as strictly confidential unless there is a legal obligation to report.
Member Portals: Recordings of group sessions may be made available to authorized members in a secure internal portal.
Messaging Services: Communication via WhatsApp/Telegram is voluntary and at the user's request. We assume no liability for data processing by third-party providers (e.g., Meta). Advertising may be distributed within closed groups.
Social Media & Marketing: When using our offers on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or Telegram, you are subject to the terms of use of these third-party providers. You agree to receive direct marketing from us through these channels.
By booking, scheduling, or participating, the participant confirms that they have read and understood this waiver of liability and the Terms and Conditions and take full responsibility for their well-being during and after the work.
The laws of the United Mexican States shall apply. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes is Oaxaca, Mexico.
Should individual provisions of this agreement be or become invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a regulation that comes closest to the economic purpose intended by the parties.
Any amendments or supplements to this agreement, as well as any collateral agreements, must be made in writing to be legally effective. Verbal agreements shall not be recognized.
